No place to sit down and cash only but the burgers are melt in your mouth good. Dogs are pretty good too. Try it, you'll like it.

The hamburger that I got from Hap's was okay. The burger itself was a bit dry. I've had better from there and the hotdog was good. That's all I can say.. nothing special.. just keeping it honest.

This place is certainly not fancy, but if you are looking for friendly staff, quick service, and a good burger (or hot dog), go here! They only take cash, but that's balanced by the fact that you can get a solid burger and drink for 5 bucks. Plus, the experience of a small, hole-in-the-wall burger joint is unbeatable. Highly recommend you give this place a try! (note: they really only have really good burgers, hot dogs, chips, and glass bottle sodas - do not go expecting more options)

This is a Cash Only, no fuss, hamburger/ hotdog joint. They have very few menu items but the chilli they add to their food is what makes it delicious. There is no where to sit inside, you simply walk up to the counter, place your order, watch your burger being made, and then head back out. You typically know they are open by either the line at the door ( which moves very quickly) or by the mouth watering smell that covers the whole block. It's a local businesses that has been around for years because of the simple, consistent, delicious quality of their food.

I just moved to Salisbury for a family emergency. I’ve tried quite a few of the restaurants in the area, but I was recommended haps from my family; I was hesitant at first. I tried to go once and noticed they only accept cash so I went to a neighboring business. Today I went in and got 2 hot dogs all the way (with chilli and onions) along with 2 burgers, one all the way, one plain, alongside a cheer wine slushi. The hot dogs were absolutely amazing with just a bit of mustard atop. The all the way burger was pretty good, but I think the plain burger is the way for me. My girlfriend also enjoyed her portion of the food. 5/5 from me! Will be back forsure, only downside for me is they only accept cash, which is the most minimal thing to complain about. Best of luck with future business!

The taste of Salisbury! Love the location, Price, and flavor! Don't expect a burger tho, expect a sloppy joe and you won't be thrown off, but really enjoy! The hot dog is awesome! Super simple and CHEAP!! CAN feed 2 ppl for $12!

My favorite restaurant! I highly recommend the cheesedog. Rest of family likes the cheeseburgers with delicious chili on them. Staff is friendly and has quick service and always have a smile for me!

1st time I walked in a few months ago, I just left bc they don't have a lot to choose from. My bf asked me to go in today to get him lunch & I realized why they don't have a lot of choices. THEY DON'T NEED THEM! They're perfect just the way they are! Their burgers are AMAZING! Best burger I've ever had. Fantastic, fast service. The food is cheap but pure perfection.

What else can be said about Hap's that already hasn't been said. Simple but great little restaurant. They take something and make it incredibly delicious. You can't go wrong with Hap's... unless you don't like hot dogs, hamburgers and great chilli!!!

This is a fine example of small town best food. They only sell hot dogs and burgers with mustard, ketchup, chili and onions. Chase it with a CheerWine for the full experience. You won't be disappointed.

I lived in Salisbury for many years until I heard about Hap's Grill. When I finally got around to trying Hap's, I could not believe what I had been missing for so long. The hamburgers are fantastic. I go there at least once a week. The quality, which was already excellent, actually improved when Jamie Gobbel took control. He and his wife do a great job and are very friendly. If you haven't tried Hap's Grill, and if you like hamburgers or hotdogs, you are in for a real treat. Be careful, their food is addictive!!!

Best hot dogs in town.

I have recently moved back to the area after 13 years. I was driving down town today and had to do a double take and to my surprise an old favorite still here and hasn’t missed a beat. I spun around pulled into a parking place and walked in. It’s was exactly how I remembered it. Yes it’s small standing room only. Burgers and hotdogs ready to go. And yes soda in a glass bottle too. The burgers are great . I get mine smashed down with cheese all the way. The hot dogs are good too. They make a cheese dog too. Go try them out and tell them Todd from TUFFCARS777 (the guy with the blue Corvette) sent you. No they didn’t pay me in any way to say that either. They are fast friendly and yummy...!

So good! Need to operate on a longer, better schedule. They close too early. My Son finally got to have his 1st Haps experience, he loved it!

Although Haps grill is known for their hot dogs, too me. Their Hamburgers are fantastic and superb! The meat actually melts in your mouth! Super great hamburgers and great service! !

Hap's has the best hamburgers and hot dogs all around, their chili is awesome. Only open around and through lunch Monday through Friday. If you've never gotten a burger or hotdog from Hap's man, you're so missing out. Gotta go try it, you'll be saying the same thing. Man is it good!!! See ya there!

I tell ya what. I just moved here from florida after 2 years of debating. But if i knew this place was here i would have been here 2 years ago. This place is amazing i wish i could eat there every day and i encorage everyone to get 1 hamburger all the way and 1 hotdog all the way. With a glassbottle cherwine. Itll cost ya about 7 dollars or so and c9mpletly worth it.
